What is Your Method?

Our method is a balanced approach that teaches dogs new behavior through clear communication. We incorporate praise, food and toys to make training feel like a game for the dog while proofing behaviors through distractions.

What Makes Cali K9 Different?

A lot of trainers train obedience, but Cali K9 has a unique system where we get the dog into what we call the "dopamine state." This allows the dog to see the training as fun and something they look forward to. Once we get the dog into a "dopamine state" we gradually introduce them to high-level distractions, including the ones that make them aggressive or nervous.

When Can I Expect to See Results?

You will notice results immediately. After training with your dog for 15 minutes your dog will be much more engaged and motivated. From there we have step-by-step building blocks to train your dog to be the dog of your dreams.

Jas Leverette, world-renowned canine behaviorist and dog trainer, is the star of Canine Intervention, streaming worldwide on Netflix. He has appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, TMZ, and numerous news and lifestyle shows.

A lifelong animal communicator and dog trainer, Jas got his start training equines with natural horse training techniques using body language to communicate. He has trained dogs and horses his entire life and has many years of animal training and pet wellness experience.

Since founding California K9 Solutions® back in 2009, Jas has worked with numerous NBA, NFL and Hollywood stars, quickly becoming the most sought out dog trainer in West Coast, USA.

Jas is now on a mission to utilize his expertise to help reduce the number of dog bite cases and dogs sent to shelters or abandoned each year worldwide through his board & train programs and online dog training courses.
