Cali K9® Bay Area Dog Training Facilities

California K9 Solutions® Bay Area dog training headquarters is a 7000 square ft climate-controlled indoor facility where evaluations, group classes, private dog training sessions, board & train program, dog day camp and dog boarding take place. Cali K9® also hosts trainers’ training workshops, community and client appreciation events, anniversary and holiday parties, AKC Canine Good Citizen® testing, obedience trials and dog sport events.

Our Silicon Valley headquarters is located at 2123 South 10th Street in San Jose, just north of Tully Road, in the Fairgrounds neighborhood in San Jose, California.

The first floor in San Jose houses our reception area and retail boutique, canine bathing station, and a huge training arena equipped with agility, boot camp, dog sport, competition, and obedience training gear. Group classes are held here, with the exception of our “out-and-about” on-leash and off-leash obedience classes and outdoor boot camps, held in local dog parks and public places in the San Jose area.

The second floor in San Jose houses the dog day camp and fitness facility, management offices and trainers lounge. Cali K9® Day Campers spend the day doing fitness training, walking, working out on the Dog Pacer treadmills, building strength and confidence on our agility course, fine-tuning obedience training, and socializing with a variety of dogs. We strive to make your dog’s time with us top-notch and provide you the peace of mind that your dog is safe, happy and in expert hands.

The Cali K9® award-winning dog training team, is led and trained by Jas Leverette, founder, owner and expert K9 trainer, and Rich Akina, head dog trainer, senior evaluator and operations manager. They use a variety of modern, balanced, competition-level dog training techniques and tools to make you and your dog(s) successful in any situation. Each trainer’s skills are constantly being fine-tuned and upgraded by attending weekly intensive “trainers’ training” workshops, participating in dog sport training and events, and working with top trainers in the dog training and K9 protection sports world.

We’ll design a training program to meet the specific needs of you and your canine, regardless of breed, size, age, temperament or behavior issue. Training Packages and services include obedience, obedience & behavior modification, advanced off-leash obedience and task-oriented dog training, protection, dog sport & agility, Dog Day Camp, and a variety of customized training packages to suit individual training goals, budgets, schedules and how each dog learns.

Please note: To maintain a safe environment for everyone and minimize distractions, we limit who can accompany you to your evaluation appointment, private training sessions and group classes. Please do NOT bring guests, infants, children, friends, relatives not in your household, other dogs, dog walkers, dog trainers or breeders to your evaluation appointment, one-on-one training sessions or group classes. Exceptions: The household or family member financially responsible for training and those who will handle the dog at home and during training sessions.

For your safety while in our facilities, parking lot or outdoor group classes, do not pet, touch, call, talk to, feed, play with, or attempt to interact in any way with dogs that don’t belong to you. No unattended children or other dogs permitted in our facilities. Guests, unattended children and dogs may not be left in your car or outside the facilities.

Important! All dogs must have documentation that all vaccines are up-to-date and be on a leash at all times. Dogs in heat are not allowed in our facility, day camp, or in group classes for a minimum of 21 days. No exceptions. Rainy Day Policy for group classes not held at one of our facilities: If it’s raining two hours before an outdoor class is scheduled to begin, class will be canceled for that day.
